These terms are an agreement between you and [LLC NAME PENDING] ("Nomad", "we", "us") for your use of the Nomad app and website. By using Nomad, you agree to them.
During the beta, Nomad is invite-only and still being built. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may reset or limit beta accounts. We'll try to give notice before major changes.
When paid plans open, Nomad will be sold as an annual subscription with a free trial. Prices and trial length will be shown before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
You keep ownership of the words, notes and files you add to Nomad. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, including generating translations and flashcards. Only upload material you have the right to use. For example, check that your tutor is fine with you uploading their PDF.
Translations and generated flashcards are produced with the help of AI and may contain mistakes. Nomad is a study tool, not a professional translation service. Don't rely on it for medical, legal or safety-critical translations.
Don't misuse Nomad. That includes trying to break or overload the service, accessing other people's accounts, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or reselling the service without permission.
You can stop using Nomad and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Nomad is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let you know before they take effect. Continuing to use Nomad means you accept the updated terms.
